Eligibility at a Glance
Pre-Primary (Nursery/Kindergarten)
Age Requirement:
- Nursery: 3+ years as of 31st March of the admission year.
- Lower KG (LKG): 4+ years as of 31st March.
- Upper KG (UKG): 5+ years as of 31st March.
Academic Requirements: No formal academic prerequisites; emphasis is on readiness and basic developmental skills.
Primary (Class 1 to 5)
Age Requirement:
- Class 1: 6+ years as of 31st March.
- For subsequent classes, add one year per grade.
Academic Requirements:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for Class 1.
- Promotion certificate or report card from the previous grade is required for Classes 2 to 5.
Middle School (Class 6 to 8)
Age Requirement:
- Class 6: 11+ years as of 31st March.
- Add one year per grade for subsequent classes.

Secondary School (Class 9 and 10)
